“We May Encounter Many Defeats But We Must Not Be Defeated.”
– Maya Angelou
Greetings, I’m excited that you’ve found my page. Although I have been implementing social work values in how I treat people and interact with the environment for the entirety of my life, my official journey began in 2005 after obtaining my Master’s from Clark Atlanta University. Since then I’ve worked with numerous populations including the Department of Family and Children Services, Suicide Crisis Lines, the United States Armed Forces, Mobile Crisis Units, Community Mental Health, and Private Practice. I’ve practiced social work in the United States as well as internationally. In addition to my Master’s I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and also a clinical license(LCSW) to practice in the State of Georgia. My journey has been rewarding on many levels and I look forward to bringing my passion for this work into our interactions should you choose to take those first steps with me!
